First of all, THANK YOU Angela Gibbs! Your invoices are awesome; can you hold a training for all of the departments that have grants with us? This is how a packet should be put together and I might keep a copy of this to show people when they just aren't getting it.
OSRS helped to guide us through the purchasing process and worked well with the vendor to take care of all details.
Your help not only made this proposal with seven states stronger but helped to accomplish match requirements. Kudos!!
I want to let you know what a great job that Loren Schroeder did for us on a NIFA proposal being submitted today. Loren is not only very skilled and efficient at her job, but she is a pleasure to work with. She takes the “rough edges” off an old boy like me and makes the things I submitted look a whole lot better than she got them!
To this point, all of our purchases with the supplemental infrastructure funding have been done. With the limited budget, we have upgraded our lab facilities significantly. The work includes your contribution.
That was very quick and very much appreciated. Thank you!
Thank you Liz for doing another great job (as usual).
I just submitted my first NSF Fast Lane grant and was so grateful to have all the help I got from Stephanie Towns. I am not particularly attentive to all the required dotting of I’s and crossing of t’s for NSF proposals. Stephanie went out of her way to rescue my proposal from disaster. You are fortunate indeed to have such a conscientious and competent staff person.
Karen, Thank you so much for providing precisely the information needed, and so quickly! Best regards,
Thanks Travis, you did well! It would have been easier to herd a bag of fleas.
Thank you SO much, Christine for all that you have done to support our project!!! You have been an excellent resource and I appreciate all of your assistance over the past year.
I absolutely love my new OSRS team!!!!
Thank you so much for your help and support on our funding efforts. You’re a huge part of our team and we appreciate you!
Tim Hein is very much appreciated at TIPS. He always goes above and beyond in processing our proposals and quickly pulling together our forms and budgets to meet our (admittedly) unrealistic expectations and deadlines. He never complains and always makes us feel like TIPS is your most important customer.
Dear Joanie, Let me take this opportunity to thank you for the superb support you have provided to us in managing this key account with the U.S. Army. This account is one of the flagship activities of the Scowcroft Institute and the Bush School. It needs to be handled with competence, energy and dedication and you have brought all three of these attributes to the effort. We will very much miss working with you. Thanks also for the introduction to Theresa Reyes. She comes to this task with great credentials and we welcome the opportunity to work with her in the future.
Dear Ruth & Cheryl, On behalf of the entire CST*R Institute CTSA grant proposal team we want to thank each of you and your OSRS staff for the excellent services you provided for the CTSA proposal throughout the fall, and especially this past weekend during the final phase of the proposal submission. From fine tuning the budget, to processing the many forms and sections of the proposal narrative, we appreciate the many hours of time you and other members of the OSRS team, including Tim Hein, Mia Zwolinski, Shelly Berry, Sue Hibbs (and no doubt many others) provided to insuring that the CTSA proposal was submitted on time. Being available this past weekend for last minute needs speaks highly of your dedication and work ethic. Thank you.
Vicki, We highly appreciate your high professional service. We are lucky to have you supporting the Qatar research program. Please let me know if I can be of any help or assistance.
Dear Shelly, On behalf of Drs. Steve Safe, Jim Womack and myself, I than you for your help with putting our proposal together. It is very reassuring to work with someone like you, who know the guidelines and requirements almost by heart. We appreciate the patience, diligence and expertise you provided each and every step of the way, and hope for the best during the review process.
I just wanted to let you all know that two individuals in your group have been providing outstanding service. Since I transitioned to my new role here at TIPS, I have worked with both Tim Hein and Susan Wilganowski, and both have been absolutely superb. Susan has just been exceptional at handling the amount of work that has been thrown her way. She is extremely responsive and helpful with navigating non-disclosure agreements, budgets and subcontracts. Tim has been just wonderful in assisting us pull proposals and budgets together and get them submitted on time. He's done this on tight timeframes and lets me know exactly what I need to do. I wanted to let you know that they are both extremely professional and courteous, very helpful in providing their expertise and making themselves available, and of course help me by making my job easier! Thank you very much for your outstanding team - it is a pleasure to work with both Susan and Tim.
Stephanie~ I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for the exceptional support you have provided me in submitting grant applications. I sincerely appreciate how good you are at what you do, how calm you stay throughtout the submission process, and how well you have helped me learn the administrative side of grant submissions. Grant submissions are cetainly so much more than just the good idea contained within the body of the proposal.
I'd like you to know that Ali Wilkerson and Darcy Hensley did a great job and caught a bunch of fatal mistakes I made on a NSF letter of intent yesterday - and did so quickly, graciously and over Darcy's lunch hour. I asked Ali on zero notice right before lunch yesterday to look over a LOI due that day that did not have to go through SRS. She thought she saw a problem and got with Darcy who had looked over two other LOIs. Ali had another commitment and Darcy took over seamlessly and got back to me immediately with corrections. It was not only a great job but that Ali knew what Darcy was doing and could draw on her experience and that they could hand off to each other was outstanding. Thanks to you all!
